Windows 7 updates
The other dayI was wondering about some Windows 7 Beta updateswhich are no necessary for Windows 7 RC but the issues or at leastsome ofmentioned in description applies prefectly and not solved in RCex: Live TV Records-missing syncronisation A/V or the playback runs at a lower speed. What I noticed so far that Windows Media Center on Windows 7 interacts and somehow takes control of any othersimilar application, I'm also using Hyper Media Centre under Windows 7 the scanning speed is reduced as WMC does, the Hue, Brightness and Saturation also changed as WMC has but the settings in control paneluse the default values. Also WMC has some problems finding and adding to the library evenits ownSample Videos, retriving themedia information from internet for anything else played on is shown only into the library and not when played or while playing.Any suggestions? As I'm testing Windows 7 RChope is a good thread for developers

I.V. -First off - the Beta updates are no longer need mainly because those patches are usually baked into the next release - in this case the RC - along with other fixes that didn't necessarily get patched in the beta build.Secondly - this issue with WMC (and presumably WMP) with regards to playback and sync - I haven't seen or heard anything about it - at least in THIS forum - so I'm not familiar with it. I haven't spent much time in the Windows 7 Media forum - it could have been reported there. You might check there to see if there are any fixes or work-arounds there.Third - In case you haven't noticed... Windows 7 has been released to manufacturing. Build 7600 is now available to those with a subscription to MSDN or TechNet Plus. It will be on store shelves on October 22nd, 2009. If the issue(s) you speak of are still present in the RTM build, they'll need to be hammered out using that build. At this point, I doubt the development team is going to spend a lot of time with the RC build. There may be a patch or two coming for the RC - but their focus will be to make the final version the best that it can be.

:)...Obviously I have to try Build 7600,WMP is built in WMC (which is all in one)but use the coding, decoding process and codecs of WMC similar with Cyberlink's software,(by its own WMP is regularand recommended player that comes with any version of Windows, its capabilities, playback and syncissues resumes to the files can be played in a bit different of WMC which was a must to make a difference. The issues mentionedand the updates (whenMicrosoft released some updates applied and fixed so far) and I guess the updates are released regarding any new version of Windows due testingand complaints.Speaking about WMC comes from a previous version of Windowswith the same name-so nothing related to configuration and performance of the PC except the behaviour on different versions of Windows. What you say is that support for RC isno longer to be availableor only with minor fixes even if just released for testing?

Like Wolfie said, "Build 7600 is now available to those with a subscription to MSDN or TechNet Plus". If you can only view the files (or details) but the download is grayed out, then you aren't a subscriber.Mobile AMD64 3000+, VIA Apollo K8T800 chipset, 1 G RAM, ATIRadeonMobility 9700, 20x DVDRW, C:XPSP3 (55G),D:WIN7 (25G),F:DATA (250G)
