Can you use Windows 8.1 Single Language in Business (Which is pre-installed in Laptops when you buy them from the market).

If you staff members do not connect to a windows domain in the company, can they continue using this license in office premises on their corresponding Laptops?

about licensing issue, you can continue using Windows 8.1 Edition in your Company without any licensing restrictions. However, technicaly, the Windows 8.1 is not qualified to join it on the Domain.

Pardon me for asking this question -->> Do you work for Microsoft? Just wanted to rephrase, there wouldn't be any issue from the licensing terms perspective in case you continue using Windows 8.1 Single Language in your Business which comes preloaded with laptops?

I'm not working directly for Microsoft but I work in a German company for Microsoft Partners licensing Support.

I confirm that Windows 8.1 single language is qualified to use it for Business/Commercial use if you are sure that your users don't need join any Domain.

in Microsoft licensing Terms for Windows 8.1 single language in NOT mentioned that this license NOT for Commercial use. for example, Office Home & Student is mentioned clear that it is NOT allowed to use it for Commercial and Business activities.
