I have windows 8 and 8.1 PCs.  I use One Drive and Office 365.

When I set up an account for my wife using her microsoft account email, the account goes straight to "signing out."  I have deleted the profile from the computer and tried again, but I get the same result each time.  This issue also occurs on the accounts I have set up for my children.

Please help.  This issue is very frustrating and is severely limiting the usefulness of the concept of having an individual account for everyone in the family.

Make sure you have signed out first before creating any other Microsoft account.

I add the new account and then sign out of my account.  When I try to log in with the new account, it never leaves the blue screen.  It starts logging in, and then it goes straight to signing out.  I have removed the account and deleted the files and then re-added it, and it does the same thing.

How about create Local Account, will it has same problem?

You can check Event Log if it identify the problem.

On the other hand, try to use DISM command below to fix system for test:

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
