Windows 8.1 update fails
I am running Windows 8 Pro registered copy. When I try to update to 8.1 Preview it proceeds about 1/2 way across the bar and then says "Update Failed". Several trys, same result. Any ideas?

download the ISO, mount the iSO, run setup.exe and select "Upgrade".

it could be the background update tool is active
try rebooting and see if it works properly
