Windows 98 Wireless Networking
I know that 98 is a relatively obsolete OS but there are persons in the business community that still use it for things such as CAD/CNC control and I am working on a machine that does just that. The issue I am experiencing with Win98 is that I cannot get any wireless card to function with it. I have attempted D-link and Belkin cards. The Belkin is the one the customer purchased and wants installed. It is a Belkin Wireless G Plus. I have thus far downloaded all sorts of programs/drivers that promise to make the card work within Win98 but none have been successful. Is there a driver out there for a generic card that will emulate this one. If anyone can help me out here I would truly appreciate it. This is getting to be an unprofitable headache. Thank you in advance.

The drivers are provided by the wireless adapter manufacturers. I believe that only old models of adapters are able to support Windows 98. For related information, you should contact the wireless adapters’ manufacturers.Arthur Xie - MSFT
