Windows Ecosystem Windows 7 downloads
For those who have received an invitation to Microsoft Connect and the Windows ecosystem we have been provided keys for Windows 7 Ultimate downloads. However, the Windows Ecosystem also has downloads for Windows 7 home premium 32 + 64 bit BUT no keys have been provided. Can Windows 7 Home Premium keys be placed into the Windows Ecosystem website for those who are participating?

No keys were provided because there is nothing in Home that is not in Ultimate, and after 30 days you can simply upgrade. You will also be able to upgrade your current beta version to the RTM (feature complete)version.Rating posts helps other users Mark L. Ferguson MS-MVP

Er Mark...When Microsoft announced the Beta for 7, didn't they say that Build 7000 WAS feature complete?RTM means that it's been fully vetted - the big bugs have been squashed, no more show stoppers and it's ready to be installed on John Q. Public's hardware. No..?

No, actually the "Release Candidate" (RC) is going to have features 7000 lacks. After that, the "Release to Mfgr" (RTM) will have a few bug fixes. This was clearly stated in the recent Springboard public chat. Mark R also pointed to a few 'sysinternals' features to be included in the Resource Monitor. Not sure you can call the online help link an added feature, but removing the 'send feedback' is another change. Personally, I think a few more gadgets would be nice.Rating posts helps other users Mark L. Ferguson MS-MVP
