Windows Installer Error 1624 (error applying transforms)
A Windows Installer Error 1624 comes up repeatedly (error applying transforms) when trying to do program auto-update for Adobe Acrobat Pro (9.3.3) to most current version (9.4). This is on a Lenovo T400 notebook running Windows 7 Professional OS. Several previous Adobe Acrobat Pro updates have been successfully completed without issues. Any ideas on how to fix this problem or what is going on? OS updates are current. Nothing found on the internet that addresses how to resolve this issue.Stephen B. Cooke

Hi, Installer Error 1624 means There was an error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid. Issue can be that the transform is marked Windows Installer 3.n only, and it's attempting execution on a PC with Windows Installer 2 only on it. Try to install Windows installer 3.1 on the PC ( WindowsInstaller-KB893803-v2-x86.exe ) and re-try. It’s also a possible that the update address is not available. I suggest downloading the update package form website and install the package by yourself. Hope it helps.
