Since June, my Windows Live Mail will not receive emails after working well for years. I can send and receive by going directly to the mail.yahoo site, and I have confirmed with ATT tech that all my settings are correct. The ATT tech deleted
my email account and then added it back, and I successfully received all 27,500+ emails since inception, so it appeared that the sync was fine upon adding the account. However, the next day the same error messages were back and unable to receive emails
again. No virus, lots of memory left, no gaming, no one else uses this computer. I feel there must be some glitch in Windows Live Mail starting around June 2012. Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800420CD and 0x800CCC0F
This product was pre-installed in Dell Studio XPS purchased from Costco in 2009; no problems except this one. When I input the product code for Windows Home Premium on Microsoft website, the "OEM" in the code caused Microsoft to refer me to Dell
for support(?)
Seems to me a software issue should be supported by Windows/Microsoft. Help
