Windows Mobile Devices
Hello folks,I'm using a Treo 500vWindows Mobile Smartphone. As I'm normallyUser ofWin2k, I used to use ActiveSync for that. Ihad heard, thatVistaused another means of communication with the device, but couldn't exactly remember. After reading about a "Mobile Devices Center" I tried for a while finding that one, on my computerjust to find out, that it's a seperate application, that has to be downloaded. If possible I'd suggest, that the download of thissoftware is done automatically, or at least promoted as such, once you try to connect a WM-Device to the Desktop.Best regardsJens

Hi,connecting your Windows Mobile to Windows 7 is very easy, i have done that just today with my XDA Orbit (HTC Artemis) WM6.Just configured Bluetooth Connection, started ActiveSync on the smartphone. After same moments the screen came up on the pc asking if you want to setup connection or not.I selected connection and than the installation of Mobile Device Center started, install the needed drivers.Just worked right out of the box.Great Job, MicrosoftHarald
