As much as I like the new notesapplication of Windows 7, I do miss the sticky notegadget, since it launches automatically and on the desktop. There is no decentsticky note gadget, can anyone recommend oneor is there a way to import the old gadget from vista?

Did you put it in your autorun?

No, I just launched it and left it on the desktop when I shutdown or log off.

The only issue that I have with win 7s sticky notes is that you cannot make it as small as a gadget. I also miss the sidebar where you were able to have many gadgets and scroll through them as pages using the small aeros on top of the sidebar
