The results of queries I send to Windows Search only include library locations, not all indexed locations. If I open Windows Search (using Win+F or the key on my keyboard) and enter "ext:psd" I get about 10 or so results from a library but if I open Explorer to Computer it will return 149 indexed results scattered around the indexed portions of my HD immediately. The index is fully built with the correct settings tuned into the Indexing options CPL applet, and the folder's "All this files contents... " options are all checked. If I add my Projects folder (where some of my PSDs are located) these files will be immediately available to Search with no additional indexing needing to be done, so I know they are indexed. The problems seems to be Windows Search only looks for files in libraries. Anyone know how I can get Windows Search and the Start Menu to display all results?

HiWhat location do you have Windows Explorer to open when you press Win+E?If it opens to the Library folders, this may be the issue.Go to wherever youhave the Windows Explorer shortcut pinned, Taskbar, Start Menu, etc. Or if you have not pinned this shortcut anywhere, go to Start/All Programs/Accessories/Windows Explorer.Right click the Windows Explorer shortcut and select Properties.
