The first thing I noticed which made me think I had a problem was when I checked my security status only to see that auto updates was off even tho I have had them set to on since I had this computer. I tired to turn the setting back on but windows was not having it, the only thing I could do was to restart the computer. After me thinking it was a virus which it still could be but my virus scan came back clean. I think I now have a semi answer the WMI service stops running,which means I can't switch users or in task manager check services or edit services to get the WMI service running (apart from a restart.) How do I stop this happening as the first I know something is not right is when the security centre starts going funny this effects my user account and my admin account. I am running vista 32 bit all patched and up to date.
