Hi immgar, What is the result after running the troubleshooting tool by going to Start -> Control Panel -> Troubleshooting -> Fix problems with Windows Update? If the issue persists, could you please let us know the error code while installing these updates? Also, you can provide the WindowsUpdate.log file for further research: 1. Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time, type: %windir% and press Enter. 2. Locate a file named "WindowsUpdate.log" and send it to us. +++ For your convenience, I have created a workspace for you. You can upload the information files to the following link. Linda Yan: Again, tried the CMD/regsvr32.dll /s after turning off the Windows Firewall and did not correct the problem. For what I read in various forums I am not the only person experiencing this updates problem/issues. Has Microsoft developed a fix or work around? I am also running XP and Vista and have not had any issues with the Windows Updates, only problem is with the updates to Windows 7 Home Premium -64 bits.
