Windows Vista - Problem connecting from my new laptop, probably an easy solution
Hey,I am really going crazy at my wireless network as i know its probably a stupid problem.I have my home computer on Windows Vista Premium. My Wireless Router - D-Link DI524My Modem - Netcomm NB5I brought a laptop on vista premium about a month ago and the network has been perfect, internet auto connects and printing is fine.Today i brought another laptop, a better one, i can see the net work "dlink" and i click connect and it doesn't ask me for my password thingy which i found strange. then it says cannot connect, diagnose, out of range or something stupid, its within one meter. and my original laptop picks it up anywhere in the house!"windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or access point"like i said its prolly something stupidbut please help! im pulling my hair out hereThanks

Same problem.... Brand new Compaq Presario V6305NR on USR8054 (802.11g) Router... System sees the wireless network with excellent strength but will NOT connect.... Exact error message reads.... Wireless association failed because Windows did not receive any response from the wireless router or access point.
