Windows Vista FTP Issue
I have set up a FTP network connection that saves the username/password to get into a FTP site on a Vista system. When you click on the shortcut link the site opens and you can browse the folders within the site itself, without having to type in the username/password. However, when you click on any files to view them, it prompts you to reenter the saved username/password. The XP and Win7 boxes we have do not prompt for a username/password when clicking on the file. Is there a way to make the Vista system behave like XP and 7? Or is this a Vista thing that can't be fixed? This happens on all Vista boxes we have.

The KB article you have listed is useless. There is no information there other than the summary of the problem, which is just a repeat of the title. Here is what is get when I click on the link. I have tried it on both a Vista box and a Windows 7 box, same thing.
