Windows XP - Outlook Express__keeps sending multi thousand e-mails to my in box.
I have just rebuilt my computer reinstalled windows XP. Called the internet service provider to set up Outlook Express. Then I imported the old data base into outlook express. After that was accomplished, the next time I accessed Outlook Express I had 5000... E-mails. I had been down for two weeks, however I do not have that many contacts. I discoverd that the e-mails were comming from my own outlook express. They are old e-mails that were transfered to a file in the inbox file bearing the name of the persons who sent them. So something is grabbing these old e-mails and then looping then into the inbox. How do I stop this? The internet service provider was no help on this issue. I have tried to delete as many as I can, but this is a slow precess. Some e-mails have to be individually deleted. Can I uninstall Outlook express and then reinstall it? John1 person needs an answerI do too
