When I select the shut down command, sometimes XP Pro does not shut down; this now happens about half the time I do a complete shut down. I usually leave my pc on standby mode.I have AMD Athlon dual core 6000; 4 GB RAM; 3.0 GHZ cpu; 160 GB hard drive using only 25% of available disk space; Avast Home, Windows Firewall, SpySweeper for MSN; WinPatrol 2010 - all active in system tray. I used Comodo firewall for 2 years until 3 weeks ago, when I began to have conflicts - since then uninstalled and have run CCleaner & DeFraggler numerous times.2 people need an answerI do too
