Hello,

I have win 8.1 single language edition. It is licensed product. I have paid for for Windows while buying this laptop. And also confirmed with chat executives that it is licensed product. However, I am still getting prompt asking me to activate windows everytime I switch on my laptop. I am using it for home purpose. I have sign in as an administrator on this laptop. 

It says that licence will expired by 29 Apr and I need to activate through online or by providing product key. But I have already applied product key while bought this laptop and windows registered version.

How to get rid of the prompt/error I am getting everytime I am using my laptop?

Please help me resolve this issue. I had a conversation with couple of online chat executives but they did not answer my query and they did not resolve it. They asked me to put it through here and I'll get revert from technical specialist.

First make sure that you have the right product key, then

check here, In your pc settings and make sure that it has the right product key or that it has one there at all.

If it says it is not registered then try inserting it again, but if that doesn't work then your product key may either be deactivated or may be used to many times. In which case you need to contact someone at Microsoft and tell them the problem
