I have recieved this error when trying to add a printer to one workstation. I have many identical workstations that have added the printer with no problems. The workstation OS is Win 7 x64. The print server hosts several printers and is running Server 2003 x32. We add printers by navigating to the print server in explorer and double-clicking the desired printer. I have added additional 64-bit drivers to the print server (because it is running server 2003). When double-clicking the printer, it will install the 64-bit drivers and then adds the printer (<Printer> on <SERVER>). The problematic workstation has no problems navigating to the print server either. It is NOT a 32/64 bit problem as it has worked on every other identical workstation except this one. The printer IS compatible with Windows 7x64 and the drivers are current. Every other identical workstation can add and use the printer. The problematic workstation has other printers added from the same print server and they work fine. It is only an issue with one printer on this particular workstation. Please advise me on what to try next.

Hi, Have you tried to add the printer manually in the Device and Printer console? If not, please try it and specify the driver locally. Also, check the permission of the printer in the printer server.
