Windows crashing while gaming plus multiple internet problems
- Windows crashes when I try to play Minecraft. The entire computer shuts down. No blue screen of death or anything, it just acts like the power has been killed completely.- Can not see text when entered to post on LiveJournal, when responding to posts in different places(in either FireFox or IE, both the latest versions) pretty much anywhere outside Twitter/Facebook. If a text box is involved I can't see what I'm actually typing. The text disappears.- Can't see e-mails that come with a link in them (I mostly notice this from Fanfiction.net) in yahoo mail. Doesn't matter which browser either. I can check the same e-mail and see it fine from another computer.- Constant dropping of the wireless network when the strength is excellent and then failing to see the network for several minutes after it is dropped. History/info on this computer. This was my late husband's computer. It sat for about a year unused because I couldn't bring myself to touch it. I busted my laptop screen (boo!) and needed to use this one to be mobile. It's a Sager LaptopIt runs XP professional (SP3) 32-bit on dual Pentium 4 processors (3 GHz) with 2 gig of RAMNVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX (Driver Version: 6.14.11.7948)802.11g MiniPCI Wireless Network Adapter (Driver Version: 3.2.0.0)Please ask for more info if you need it. I've updated and updated until windows has run out of updates. I've updated driver after driver as well.I really didn't know where to put this either with the multiple problems. This was his baby and I'm entirely out of my league on trying to deal with it. He designed it and had it built to his specifications. 1 person needs an answerI do too
