The following is what I find in the vent viewer of Windows 7 RC 32 : it comes back everyday.It makes me feel uncomfortable - is there anything wrong on my system ?--------------------Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. Are you seeing that in Event Viewer? Oh duh. I should read the first sentence of all posts. I've had that issue for 2 years with Vista.I solved it by disabling Windows Defender service. (Actually, I put its startup option to manual). Yep - in Event Viewer.Defender service is already disabled and set to manual.I have added some details hereunder :----------Windows detected your registry file is still in use by other applications or services. MsMpEng.exe you will find in program files\windows defender.
