Windows file directory is too full (66-67GB). Why?
One of our computers is giving a low memory warning and regulary shows about 256MB of space left on the hard drive. When you look at the Windows file directory, it has in the neighborhood of 66-67GB of information on it, which is way more than our other computers. Total hard drive space is only about 75GB.I suspect that it has been infected with something that has embedded itself in the directoryand started to replicate. I have run some spyware/malware programs on it to try to detect and correct the problem but not had much luck.I ran a Rootkit Revealer and found quite a few hidden files in the Windows file directory but, I'm not really sure which ones should be in the directory and which ones should not.Can anyone help us, please? Thanks!2 people need an answerI do too
