Hi Chicker, - Which is the E-mail client that you use? - Which is the browser that you use? - What's the exact and complete error message that comes up as a pop-up message to you? - What happens when you tried to restore? - Do you get this pop-up only with ur mail page? - When exactly do you get this pop-up message? Is it while you try to send/receive mails? Could you please explain the instance when you get this pop-up? - Did you make any recent changes to your computer after which this issue has started to occur? - Do you get this pop-up for any particular site only? Post back with more specific details regarding the issue to help us assist you better.Regards,Divya R – Microsoft Support.Visit our Microsoft Answers Feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

I use outlook express for mail. MSN is my home page. Mostly I get this pop-up when trying to read or send mail but I do get it at other sites occasionally. All it says is WINDOW INSTALLER and if I wait a minute it says installing, if I wait another minute it goes away and I can read that mail. The next mail it does the same thing.Thank you

I think this all started after I downloaded "MESH" a music sharing site. I have since removed this from my computer.

Have a look in the System and Application logs in Event Viewer for Errors and Warnings and post copies here. Don't post any from than more than 48 hours ago. You can access Event Viewer by selecting Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, and Event Viewer. When researching the meaning of the error, information regarding Event ID, Source and Description are important. A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click on the error you want to copy. You will see a button resembling two pages. Click the button and close Event Viewer. This places a copy of the report into your Clipboard. Paste into the body your message. Make sure that this is the first paste after exiting from Event Viewer.Hope this helps, Gerry Cornell
