Yesterday I removed an antispy safegaurd virus from my computer that was stopping me from opening some programs such as internet explorer etc. After following instructions I managed to remove it, however after login only a black screen appeared and my mouse pointer and the my documents program! The windows desktop does not open. I can access this by using task manager and typing in explorer into the new task bar. How can I get windows desktop to run automatically on startup?
