Windows search finds email in PST but not OST
Hi,
I suggest to contact Outlook forum for further help:

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who

Furthermore, you can try to rebuild index on your Windows 7:

Please note: it will take a bit long time to rebuild index.

I have Windows 7 Professional edition on a laptop connected to a corporate network coupled with Exchange 2007 for email. Windows 7 Search will find email in my Personal Folders but not in my OST. I keep about 3 months of incoming/outgoing email
and then migrate the data to a PST file. Search will find email items that are over 3 months old but will not find email items between teh current time and 3 months. Indexing is turned on for Microsoft Outlook (Domain\my_username).
