Winows 7 service: SFXDMBZW
Hello. I currently have a service running called SFXDMBZW that I have tried finding info about on Google, bing, live, yahoo, and other search engines, that ALL have returned with 0 results on! SFXDMBZW can be found - if its on your machine - in task manager under services. What that means in layman's terms is that technically it's not supposed to exist - YEAH RIGHT... What that means in layman's terms is that what we most likely have here is a sophisticated spyware program running, who's author has BOUGHT, or even ORDERED BY DECREE that information on SFXDMBZW be blocked from search engines and crawler bots to prevent JOE PUBLIC from obtaining info on it. IF this post doesn't instantly disappear, does anyone know anything about this service SFXDMBZW ? It has no dependancies. It has no description. No grouping. No functions... It exists in the registery under contolsets current through 003 under services it can be disabled in the registery by setting its start function to 0 on All instances under controlsets current through 003. it can be deleted - at least that's what's visible. Oh, now that it has been deleted my wife now enjoys a reesablished internt connection. Thanks

Stop the service and make a full scan with an AntiVirus Scanner like Microsoft Security Essentials and also scan your PC with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. This looks like Malware."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Thank you for your assistance on this matter. as my original post reveals I corrected this issue while posting - and as of the date I'm posting this reply SFXDMBZW has not returned and my wife still has internet connectivity. So the issue has been resolved by me, via the deletion of SFXDMBZW out from registery values. An interesting note: SFXDMBZW is now found via a Google search a total of 6 times on three websites, all referrancing this post... Don't tell me that I was the first person from the entire WorldWide Web to actually post this !! Priceless.... Please consider this post now as informational, thanks for your time! P.S.: I'd like to just say to anyone reading this: LEARN THE WINDOWS REGISTRY! I cannot stress the importance of this enough. Once you grasp the command of the Windows registery you'll then hold the reigns over your computer.
