Wired and Wreless Networking
Better to be lucky then good I guess. So far, networking has come up pretty good. I am also wondering what is the point to the home group scheme - it did not make it any easier - especially when dealing with multiple vista computers and other devices.I had a problem with the wireless connections initially, but it turned out to be due to firewall issues which cropped up when new virus software turned its own one back on after I had deactivated it (left windows one on).I have also had decent wireless throughputs (unlike another poster who seemed to have lost his...). I am able to stream BluRay movies wirelessly between 2 floors just like I did with Vista application. I am using the 64 bit (clean install).

HomeGroup doesn't work with Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux or really anything else. It's"Windows 7" only, so it's pointless unless you have multiple Windows 7 computers on your LAN.
