Wireless Adapter Working and Router Configured Correctly, but still can't connect to internet wirelessly
Hi, I'm running XP Home. I have a Linksys wireless g adapter and a D Link router. I was having driver install issues and called Linksys tech support. They took care of driver issues but I still couldn't connect to internet. They stated from their remote admin. and testing that adapter was functioning correctly, thus told me to contact D Link as they thought the router needed setting changed. D Link tech ran through a bunch of setting changes, network name change etc etc, but still no internet! D Link tech states the router and network are fine as well as adapter working correctly (I actually have a hard wired and another wireless computer both working fine, but running Win 7, not XP on the same network). Tech says I now have to contact Microsoft to solve what he says are XP settings issues. Any ideas here?1 person needs an answerI do too
