Wireless Automatic Settings Issue
When using standard automatic configuration for a Wireless network in Vista B2 (5384): Issues: Default Gateway set to 0.0.0.0 as first and 192.168.1.1 as last item. Resolution: Manually setup connection settings such as IP, DNS, and Default Gateway Specific: Remove the 0.0.0.0 entry in the default-gateway field and all works Analysis: A ping test from the computer-to-router works, a ping test from the router-to-computer fails. A ping test from the router-to-Internet works, a ping test from the computer-to-Internet fails. Router shows MAC entry for computer and normal port operations, verified all network components and Internet access working.

Bad Router firmware or configuration, possible indication of failing router hardware.
