Wireless Internet slow....really slow
Just installed Windows7 RC 7100 to my Vaio Laptop. Everything else is ok but wireless Internet speed is really slow like around few kb/s instead of several 100's which I used to get when I was running XP or Vista in the same PC.The laptop has Intel 3945 adapter, tried all new drivers without any help. Then tried to disable the internal adapter and connected D-Link DWL-G122 USB dongle to the laptop but the problem remains the same. Of couse these two adapter have different drivers.I also tried the wireless D-Link USB stick on my desktop PC running the same Windows 7 RC and the connection speed is as low as with the laptop, sometimes redigulous (below 100 bytes per s) slow.Install on both have been clean and no multi booting. All drivers have been updated, firewall switched off and wireless router restarted. It seems something is wrong with the RC release as many seems to claim really slow wireless connection speeds? Also needless to say that all other several laptops (mainly XP) work fine with normal wireless speed.

Case now closed. Terribe to say but I was wrong and nothing wrong with Windows 7.My D-Link Wlan router seems to be defective.Reset or firmware update for the router did not help.So I tried with another wlan router and speed was normal again!
