I have a Compaq C769US laptop, running Vista, with an Artheros AR5700 wireless mini-card. If I'm not connected to AC power, I cannot connect wirelessly to my Actiontec router, it times out. If I connect to AC power, I can connect and stay connected when I disconnect from AC. Any ideas?

Hi Maybe you need to look at your Power Plan settings? Control Pannel - Power Options - Edit Plan Settings - Change Advanced Power Settings - select the Wireless Adapter Settings and edit as required. Hope this helps. Matt
