Wireless client shutdown
I am having issues with the windows wireless client shutting down on its own, randomly. When it goes down at the same time so does the Desktop Window Manager. I have scanned for both spyware and viruses and found nothing. Also my wireless
card has a driver update but when it is installed it no longer detects my network. his shutdown seems to happen most often when I am gaming online.
My computer is a self built machine running Windows 7 Home Premium (free upgrade from Vista), a Linksys 802.11n broadcom wireless card, My network hub is a Linksys WRT54G v5 router with updated firmware.

Do you get any messages when this happens?
First thing is to check the event logs for errors. If you find any, try
http://eventid.net to research the problem.

Which event log?

1.
Please go to Event Viewer ==> Windows Logs==>System to see if any error is logged, review the details and share with us.
2.
Check for performance warnings:
1)
Click Start, right-click Computer and then click Properties.
2)
Click Windows Experience Index.
3)
Click Advanced Tools.
4)
In the Advanced Tools window, click the performance-related links to examine detailed information about the computer.
