Hi, I would like to know the following information: 1. Is there is other network connection? 2. Is any third party network log-in or management software used? You can try re-establishing the network connection: 1. Click the Start Button, input DEVMGMT.MSC in the Search bar and press ENTER to launch Device Manager. 2. Expand "Network adapters". 3. Right click on the wireless adapter and click Uninstall. 4. After that, please restart the computer and let the system reinstall the wireless adapter automatically. If the issue persists, you may test it in Clean Boot mode. In addition, if any antivirus program or Firewall is used, please temporarily disable it.Vivian Xing - MSFT

Sorry for the delay getting back Flu. No other network connection No third party software Removed driver and installed latest Clean boot the same . tries to connect but fails. right click on connection & security tab, tick show characters click ok. Result = connects Reboot and log in needs filling in again . Despite ticking automatically connect boxes login pass is not in effect saved on power off . As its the password thats lost is their a password file that can be deleted and rebuilt . Or would System File Checker be of use . jje

Hi, If any router is used, I suggest resetting it. You can also try SFC (System File Checker) Use the System File Checker (SFC) =========================== 1. Click Start, type "cmd" (without the quote) in the Start Search bar, right-click cmd.exe and click run as administrator. 2. Input the following command and press Enter. sfc /scannowVivian Xing - MSFT
