Wireless networking issue
Just installed the recent RC version of Win 7, then I found it can not connect to my wireless router through a USB adapter, which works fine with Vista and XP installed on the same computer (different dirves). It detects my router but when I try to establish a connection, always says that it fails to verify my security code, which I have re-entered and double double checked N times. I'm using a Level One USB adapter. I installed the software from their website. Although I got a message saying it's not compatible, I installed it anyway. Doesn't seem to be any issue about the installing except that I still get the same problem when trying to connect to my wireless network. Do you have any idear why it's not working on Win 7 RC? It didn't work on the Beta version either. But I didn't bother to find a solution then. I figure it should be fixed in the RC version. How wrong am I! Do I just need a Win 7 compatible driver (which is unlikely to be found as I am already using the most recent version available on their website) or is there any tricks in the Win 7 that I can play to fix this? Many thanks!

Hey Hoyo,I suggest that you submit your query to the manufacturer of your device and check if they have a Win7 driver. If they do not have, please try re-installing the Vista driver with the Compatibility mode.Post back if you need detailed instructions on how to use the Vista or XP's compatibility mode to install the driver.Jabez Gan [MVP] - http://www.msblog.org Contributing Author for: (Sybex) MCTS: Windows Server 2008 Applications Infrastructure Configuration Study Guide: Exam 70-643
