I am running XP Pro onmy desktop and all seems well with its network config. I recently bought a new laptop with Vista and I can't get the two machines to see each other and allow me to share drives and printers. All sharing settings appear to be setup correctly on both machine but I cannot get a connection. Both can connect to the internet and my router sees both systems just fine. Disabling my firewalls has not helped with this problem and I am at a loss. Could this be a port issue? If anyone has any input into this please reply. Sub
