Yet another Admin Account question
I have combed the forums and help center and cannot find a solution to my permission problems. First, I was modding a game, when it wouldn't let me edit some of the game's files. Next, I wanted to delete some files that I had put on there (they were music
files, nothing special). This was odd because I had already deleted the rest of the files in that folder.
I have verified my account has administrator access and have disabled UAC in order to just get around the permissions without success. I also unlocked the Administrator account in Computer Management and logged in as it, yet I still apparently do not have
permission to do these tasks.
How do I get full control over my system?
PS I think this is the correct forum, but if not can a moderator move me to the right one?

don't try it. The UAC fixes 90% of the security issues compared to running with admin rights.
I posted a workaround [1] which allows you to run the Windows Explorer with admin rights [2].
Run this if you want to edit files which are blocked by the UAC.
