Youtube and other Misc MP3's
I have been running the RC for a while and I have only encountered one problem. On certain youtube videos all I get is a short blip of sound and nothing afterwords. This also happens on some videos of mine I have downloaded from the internet, as well as MP3's I have been able to download from youtube. My normal MP3's from CDs play just fine as well as video game music from many computer games I own. Anyone have any idea why this might be? PS. My sound drivers are all up to date and supported in windows 7.

I have tried to find the codecs, but I have not seen them. I have looked on the downloads part of the microsoft webpage as well as the technet site. Where can I get the latest codecs at?

Hello Bav,Codecs can found vrtually everywhere because there are new ones being made all the time. Here is a pretty comprehensive collection of older and newer codecs.-Scott

No dice, no matter what codec packages I ried to use nothing worked. All I get is that brief bit of sound at first and just bass coming from my speakers. No music whatsoever, and this is only from youtube, and music that I have gotten off downloads from youtube videos.

This may be worth a try http://ac3filter.net/projects/ac3filter Be careful with the mixer settings though :) Apologies in advance to the moderators if the link above is inappropriate but I have found that works where all else fails.Windows 7 x64 RC, Asrock K8NF6P, AMD64 3200+, 1.5GB RAM, Palit Geforce 8400GS 256MB, 500GB Maxtor SataII, Asus 1814BLT optical

Still nothing I don't realize why it won't work. All im getting from these music files are just bass sounds from my subwoofer. I just don't get it, maybe a faulty install or something? I'll list my systems components to see if that might shed any light. -Galaxy GeForce 9600 GT 1GB -Asus P5N-D nForce 750i (as a note the onboard sound didnt work out of box) -Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66Ghz -HITACHI 1TB SERIAL ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G -Creative X-Fi Xtreme Audio sound card -Windows 7 RC 64 bit EDIT: I figured out the issue with media player, i set the playback options off of system default to the soundcard, even so the same youtube videos I originally got some of these songs from (they work now in media player), but they still don't work online, would that be a flash issue then possibly?

I'm currently using firefox 3.0, but the issue is the same evn on IE 8. I even made sure on IE that the default program for sound was windows media player.
