When adding files to a compressed archive in previous versions of Windows, Vista and XP, we could select the option of adding a password for security purposes. In windows seven, the latest and most advanced windows yet, this function has been removed or am I just overlooking it? Can someone tell me whats going on? You aren't overlooking anything, unfortunately. It's gone, from what I hear and see.I can't say anybody outside of Microsoft knows why but a few features have been axed or reduced in functionality.
