after downloading mseinstall.exe it is automatically deleted
I can watch the file appear in the appropriate folder and stay. I can even right-click and view the properties. However, as soon as the download reaches 100% it disappears, and can not be found even with an advantaged search that looks in both hidden and
system files. I also can download updates, but they too disappear in the same manner.
I have Windows Vista Home Premium x32 service pack 2. I believe it is a virus, but have not been able to identify or locate its location

Hi,
From which source did you download the mseinstall.exe?
And where is it located on the hard drive when downloading?
Please download it again. If the issue persists, it indicates the source file is corrupted itself. If not so, please download it on hard driver, avoid USB drives to check it out.

I have the same issue...
Magon Liu...this is not for a particular file, any file I download has the same behavior. It doesn't matter if I download it via IE90, chrome or mozilla. I can see the file in download folder, as soon as download reaches 100% it gets deleted. It
doesn't go in the recycle bin.
Really really frustrating.
Thank you
