applications on terminal server is hard to read on a new windows 7 desktop connecting with rdp
We recently purchased 5 HP windows 7 pro desktops and LE1911 flat panel monitors. Original desktop is fine, typing in Word Pad the font is normal and easy to read. The problem starts after we use the RDP to connect to one of our terminal servers running Windows 2003 R2. The font becomes very hard to read - almost like a dot matrix and is giving some users headaches. We have tried adjusting the settings for the menu, taskbar, and such, but doesn't help the body of a document. Tried changing client settings in Terminal server configuration to 24 Bit color depth - didn't work. Change monitors to an old CRT - is ok, but would like to use the new flat panels. Other flat panel users running XP are fine. Help would be appreciated EllenEllen

Hi, I would like to confirm the following details: 1. Do all windows 7 computers have this issue? 2. What is the result when you connect to other terminal servers? Due to this issue is related to the specific monitor, I suggest you install the latest driver for it. If the issue persists, you could also contact the HP support for further help: HP Support & Drivers Note: Microsoft provides third-party contact information to help you find technical support.
