av antivirus scam,, win32.exe.bn
hey! my wifes computer has become unuseable today. all my computers have ms security essentials... well now the xp mediacenter pc has some av antivirus trying to get 79.00 us dollars to uninstall the software/malware that I honestly believe they installed... to top it off. now it says that my hardware configuration has changed and that I need to reactivate windows.. I was instructed by a web search to restart in safe mode and do a sys restore.. then run an anti virus program.. I cant do much of anything now, except to x out the popup to get 3 more... there should be a law against this .. charge me to fix your bug??? lol Help me before my wife goes balistic pls : ) Thanks in advance Mtomsen1 person needs an answerI do too

Don't worry, try to boot in safemode with networking (instead of safemode). restart and press F8 key repeatedly and chose safemode with networking.Then login to:http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/default.htmAnd run full system scan (use internet explorer and allow Active X and popup).Then after full scan remove threats and restart your PC.If problem did not solved, then contact safety support:https://consumersecuritysupport.microsoft.com/default.aspx?productkey=pcsafetymalware&faq=1&task=diagnostics&st=1&wfxredirect=1
