Recently bought a new HP laptop, starting getting these last couple of days. There have been no new hardware installations.
I am access denied from zipping the files. I cannot look or zip them at all. I am the main administrator to the laptop. How can I do this to let you see it?
May 15th, 2012 12:28pm
BSOD generates by default minidump. Would you upload zipped minidump to any cloud repository like SkyDrive? If you would like to analyze minidump, use WinDBG or simpler BSOD viewer from Nirsoft.

What is your computer model?
Please post a copy of your dumpfile as a shared file to your Sky Drive with a link here.
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itproui/thread/4fc10639-02db-4665-993a-08d865088d65
For advice on how to configure your system to create dump files please read:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/254649
The dumpfile will be created at c:\windows\minidump. You may need to change your settings in Windows to be able to see
the file. To show hidden files type Folder Options in the search box above the Start button and select View, Advanced Settings and verify that the box before "Show hidden files and folders" is checked and "Hide protected operating system files" is unchecked.
You may need to scroll down to see the second item. You should also make certain that the box before "Hide extensions for known file types" is not checked.Hope this helps, Gerry

Steve
I suggest you run the Windows 7 Memory Diagnostic Tool:
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/715-memory-diagnostics-tool.html
What anti-virus software is installed?
Have you installed any registry cleaners or system optimisers?
What is your graphics card? Your drivers may require updating.
What is your laptop model?
Your version of ndis.sys has me puzzled. In Windows Explorer right click on the file in your C:\windows\system32\drivers folder and select Properties, Details. What is file version number and date?Hope this helps, Gerry

Steve
Are you sure you have OneCare as this is discontinued Microsoft software not suitable for use with Windows 7?
The reason I asked about registry cleaners was that I noticed that you have Smart Defrag from Iobit. Iobit have a product known as Advanced System Care, which is a registry cleaner. Registry cleaners provide negligibe benefits and have the capacity to create
insoluble system errors that can only be resolved by reinstalling Windows and all that entails.
It is sensible in your situation to run a check for malware
Boot the computer to safe mode with networking and download and install Malwarebytes (freeware version for home users only), update definitions and run in safe mode. Disable other security software whilst you are doing scans.

Download and run SuperAntiSpyware (Free Edition)

Hope this helps, Gerry

ill tell you what the service tech i sat on the phone for eight hours with told me finally after being pushed to his limits with similar problems. put your windows 7 disk in the drive and do an inplace upgrade. this should fix the problem lol. be sure
to have your mb driver disk and any updated ones on an jumpdrive first. none of your files will change from the upgrade just make sure you do not do a complete install.
