I tried to be smart and went into the wrong place! After giving my wireless password to a family member I decided to play with the shared security. I right clicked on C drive and left click on Property and left click on Shared to un check all public access to my C drive. Then BOOM a multitude of things started to happen. The main thing not being able to access my own C drive I got Access Denied. I tried everything that Pegassus mentioned in that forum without luck! It was so easy and logical for me to assume that that I was doing the right thing trying to protect my own C drive I can't beleive that the only answer is to restore the windows 7 home edition to fix that...I'm OK to follow any step by step to try to fix this problem.
