I'm guessing that your default gateway is your wireless router, and that it has the address 10.10.10.1, and that your XP machine is connected by a wire as you dont mention anything about wireless protocols. Did you try to ping 10.10.10.1, or did you try and ping www.microsoft.com or some other url.You may not have a DNS server entry on your XP machine to resolve internet URLS back to ip addresses?Can you confirm that.
