can't get hotmail to open on Win7
I first asked this question on:https://windowslivehelp.com/community/p/65452/277661.aspx?wa=wsignin1.0I am using MS Windows 7 RC, MS IE 8, I had McAfee antivirus, a home version from my job. I down loaded Microsoft Security Essentials, uninstalled McAfee but did not restart my computer so I stayed online. I connect to the Internet by MoDem. So I could not install MS SE with out restarting. I first notice a problem after I replied to a message from HotMail. After that I could not click on any message to read it. I logged off closed MS Internet Explorer and then cold not get back to the hotmail logon page. I could see the IE Status Bar changing, saying Wait, Connecting, then Done and all I would see is a blank page. I tied the suggestions givenand no change. I also noticed I could not logon to any of my bank account web sites. I could go to any web page and see the contents. I could not even log on to this site. I am now running my computer from my other hard drive running MS Windows XP, IE 8. I can see my Hotmail and logon to my bank web pages. Also I noticed I cannot see the gadgets on the desktop. I had the clock, I can see the square where the clock would be and the second hand but it is not moving.Help.
