can not longer RDP Windows 7 machine
I can no longer RDP into my workstation. I'm making an assumption, but I think it was because of the way I recently reset my password:
1.) I was in Acitve Directory, and I accidentaly reset my own password (it's a long story), while I was currently logged into my workstation.
2.) I immediately set the password BACK to what it was previously while still in Active Directory. Everything seemed fine, and I could access network resources. I did not log off or restart.
3.) the next day, I, nor any other user, from any other computer, could RDP into the workstation.
4.) telnet into 3389, port is responding.
5.) MSTSC will establish a connection and you're presented with credentials.
6.) upon entering the credentials, you get an error message "This computer can't connect to the remote computer. Try connecting again. If the problem continues, contact the owner of the remote computer or your network adminstrator."
7.) this error message is logged in the event log when a computer trye to RDP:

It was necessary to regenerate the Remote Desktop certificate under the Certificates Console in order for me to re-establish a connection to the computer.
