cannot install windows live messenger
Hi guys, I'm trying to install Windows Live messenger (I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit), but I get the error code 0x800b0003 (unknown error) Source: WaitForCatalog. So I look it up on google and the next thing I find is that I think I need a certain windows update for compatibility with Windows XP? I'm not sure if that's correct, but I tried the update here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960554 but no solution there. Cannot even install that b/c it says that I'm not an administrator, which I am. I checked system tools and even the group policy page to make sure that I had certain things selected... I'm at a loss now. I also recently ran Windows update so I should be ready to go in that respect... Any ideas?
