This is also happening to me: since yesterday (1 Sept 2010) and using Outlook Express 6 configured as Microsoft says to access your Hotmail account, I can receive but not send messages. When I click on "Send and Receive" the system tries to send but stops at the Authorizing stage and asks me to type in the password again. The password I use is the correct one (I know because I can log in to the Hotmail account through the website with it). No matter how many times I try, it keeps asking for the password; no error messages are given.Thank you for your help.FDdCH
