plz help me. i am having problems connecting to a shared directory on an xp home computer from my vista home premium computer. there are no firewalls/antivirus on either machine,i have the machines on the same subnet and workgroup,i created duplicate "wetlife" accounts with the same password on both computers, and i tried the windows "easy" transfer tool. the windows easy transfer tool doesnt work, and when i try to access the shared dir on the xp machine from the vista machine, it gives me a logon prompt. when i enter the username wetlife and the password, it appends the computer name to the username, "wetlife-pc\wetlife", and tells me "logon unsuccessful." am i missing some obvious step? is there some known issue networking xp home and vista home premium?
