change homepage in ie8
hi.I am new to windows 7 and i have a problem.I want to change the homepage in ie8. But i am not able to do that because when i go to Tools>Internet Options>General the three buttons "use blank","use default","use current" are inactive. At the bottom it says "some settings are managed by your system administrator". I have only one user account.i don't know how to solve this problem. Somebody kindly help me. thanking you, narendra

Hi, According to the issue that you have provided to us, I wonder whether your computer is a domain based. Some options in group policy could cause this issue, thus you may kindly contact your system administrator. In case, your computer is not a domain based, I suspect it might be an administrator account. If so, I suggest that you may contact the local computer administrator to check local group policy. 1. Click Start button, type “gpedit.msc” (without quotes) in Search Bar. 2. Move to Local Computer Policy-> User Configuration -> Administrator Templates -> Windows Components -> Internet Explorer. 3. Find “Disable changing home page settings”, double click the item and disable it.
